5月28日（土）、ホノルル市のハワイ・コンベンション・センターにて、ハワイ・アカデミー・オブ・レコーディング・アート（HARA）による「ナ・ホク・ハノハノ・アワード」が華やかに開催。ハワイ音楽界における優秀アーティスト、作曲家、演奏家に各賞が授与されました。

チャド・タカツギ（最優秀ハワイアンミュージックアルバム賞など4部門）、ジミー・ボージャス（最優秀男性ボーカリスト賞など4部門）らが多くの賞を受賞。新人賞は、先日のキックオフパーティーでも注目されていたブレイン・アシング。インターナショナル・アルバム賞は日本のウクレレ奏者、名渡山遼が受賞しました。最優秀ウクレレアルバム賞は、ブライアン・トレンティーノ＆ハーブオオタジュニアの「Ukulele Friends」。そのほかにもそうそうたるメンバーが各賞を受賞しました。
