- As a Customer Service Representative with the Life Insurance Company, you’ll be the point of contact for our customers and be empowered to deliver an exceptional experience to those looking for help, guidance, and support.
You’ll help them make informed decisions about their policies by answering their questions, resolving issues and helping to provide the requirements to execute their requests.
You will strive to compassionately interact with all customers to enhance the customer service delivery and experience that aligns with the company's mission of servicing our customers with exemplary service.
Essential Functions
・Serve as Individual Life's frontline of communication to internal/external customers and sales agents.
・Respond to incoming requests/inquiries accurately, without transfer or call back.
・Perform basic processing for policy-related transactions.
・Create, analyze, understand and communicate life insurance illustrations.
・Research and respond to errors, delays and discrepancies.
・When required, translate between the IL Department and customers, to and from English and Japanese.
・Acquire and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all life and annuity products and be able to convey this information in all forms of
communications.
・Maintain a working knowledge of the policy administration systems and other system applications necessary to execute, process and
respond to customer inquiries and transactions.

- 応募資格
- Associate’s degree.
One (1) year customer service experience. Insurance/financial-services experience preferred. Experience in a call-center environment desired or an ability to handle a high volume of calls and service requests in a fast-paced environment.
Attainment of the State of Hawaii Life Insurance License within three months from date of hire.
Bilingual in Japanese and English( reading, writing and verbally)
Desire and initiative to learn about insurance and financial service concepts: product features, financial, insurance, taxes, and estate planning.
Basic math skills.
PC Skills (Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook,Excel, OneNote, Teams).
Must be able to maintain a high standard of productivity, efficiency and accuracy while working under pressure.
